Crafted in our woodshop in Central KY. This Drum Carder has been a project 8 years in the making. During the designing process I decided to LOAD the carder with any helpful feature I could imagine. (Including several never seen before features)

From the finished prototype I worked backwards going through my system to craft these efficiently so I could make the price VERY competitive and give you the greatest value. I am so excited to offer this product. As always if you don't absolutely love it I do WHATEVER it takes to make it right.

Excellent features and works great

I've now had my new carder for a couple of weeks and have made some batts from a Jacob fleece. So far I love it! I like the doff hook (not a long doffer stick) which is ergonomically comfortable, as well as the other tools with onboard storage. The crank handle is very comfortable to hold. I love the cleaning drum which I haven't seen on other carders. It is well made and heavy, so I haven't even had to clamp it down to use it (I once saw a video in which the artist said if you need to clamp down the carder you are loading too much fiber on). This is my first drum carder, though I've used a different brand in classes and yet another brand when I borrowed a friend's tool. This is the only carder I will ever need and a great investment at a fair price for what you get. Definitely worth the wait. If you're on the fence, hop over and buy from BAM!

A well made and easy to keep clean drum carder!

This drum carder has been a game changer. There are two ratios. One for getting washed fiber untangled and ready to spin and one for blended prepared fibers. The cleaning drum makes clean up fast. I debated if having a drum carder would be a wise investment and have not regretted buying this one. Functional features and cherry wood! Win, win.

I really love this drum carder!

This is my first drum carder, so keep that in mind, but I do believe this one has set the bar quite high. I love its aesthetics, it's motion is smooth, adjustments are rare but easy. I really, really like the easy clean feature and think it's well worth the investment. And I am so happy with the level of customer service Baruch has provided, keeping me informed after the fire and at every point giving me the option to withdraw my purchase if I so choose. I'm glad I didn't!

My 1st Drum Carder-I’m So Glad I Waited For This One!

I put off buying a drum carder because they are quite expensive. I’ve always wanted one. When I saw this one, with the features that it has, and the price, I knew it was the one for me. I’ve used it for the past week and I’m greatly impressed! I purposely loaded it up and made it quite “dirty“ so I could try cleaning it. The cleaning drum is genius! I can finally start getting through the tons of fiber I have been collecting for the past several years. My spinning, weaving, and knitting projects are going to be keeping me busy for quite a while.
