Diz for Combs, Hackles, Carders

A diz is a must have for Combs and Hackles. Start the wool through a hole and pull your fiber through using both hands to control the fiber. This makes it so easy to pull off your fiber into consistent smooth 'roving' ready to spin.
After you've used a quality diz, you will never go back to drafting by hand!

• 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿. A diz that is too thick can struggle pulling off very short fiber. This diz is only 1/8" thick making it perfect for any length of fiber including very short fiber.

I’ve been watching videos on how to use these for a while now and finally had enough extra funds to put towards a set of combs. These were affordable with the bonus of being featured in much of the content I have been seeing, I especially liked how customizable they were! I got a double row in cherry wood, with a table base, magnetic tops and a dizz, the craftsmanship is top notch! They’re easy to hold and work with, my only struggle has been finding a table that will let me attach the base to, my main table has a rounded edge to it which makes attaching things like this difficult.
