The tines are set approx. ¼” apart.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eExtra Fine:\u003c\/strong\u003e Perfect for most finer fibers like Alpaca, Merino, Rambouillet and similar fibers. If your locks are very thin and tightly crimped you may need these combs to hold the fiber better than the Fines.
